What is Kitospace?
Kitospace is the operational system for physical spaces. Whatever you rent out or look after — hotel rooms, holiday apartments, desks, storage boxes, berths — Kitospace holds the whole operation in one place: who is staying, which space they are in, what needs cleaning, and who on your team is handling it. The vocabulary is deliberately neutral so the same platform runs a hotel, a set of vacation rentals, or a co-working floor. A room or space is a unit. A booking is a reservation. A property is a workspace. Housekeeping work is cleaning, and a single cleaning or maintenance task is a mission. A visitor who stays with you is a guest.Key concepts
An Organization can hold many workspaces, and a workspace can hold many units. Almost everything you do day to day happens inside one workspace at a time — see Workspaces.
What are add-ons?
Kitospace is sold as a small core with capabilities layered on top. What you can see in the sidebar depends on which add-ons your Organization has.
Further add-ons cover more specialised work, including Channel Manager for distributing your inventory to online travel agents, payment processing, and tourist-tax and guest-registration handling.
Where everything lives
- Units — the spaces themselves, with their types, inventory pools, and rate plans.
- Reservations — bookings, their statuses, and the Calendar.
- Guests — guest profiles and stay history.
- Cleaning — missions for housekeeping and maintenance.
- Communication — Team Chat for staff and Guest Chat for guests.
- Booking Links — distributing your inventory and resolving conflicts.
- Analytics — occupancy, revenue, and booking volume.
- Settings — Organization-level and workspace-level configuration.
- Kito AI Assistant — ask questions about your own data.
Common use cases
- Running one property — a single workspace holds every unit, reservation, and cleaning task; the whole team works in the same place.
- Running several properties — one workspace per property keeps availability, settings, and members apart, while billing and roles stay shared at the Organization level.
- Splitting the work by role — front desk lives on the Calendar and Reservations, housekeeping lives in Cleaning, and managers watch Analytics.
